As a self proclaimed makeup and cosmetic lover, I buy and use a lot of products on a regular basis. I get up in the morning, wash my face, put on lotion, put on BB Cream, put on concealer, put on power, put on mascara, and when I get home I love night creams and face masks as much as the next person. It's relaxing and nice and it can be a confidence booster when you have a bad day. But I watched a video today- http://storyofstuff.org/blog/movies/story-of-cosmetics/- about how makeup and beauty products do not have to be regulated by law. And they don't have to put all of the products on the label. Say what? The FDA bans only 8 out of over 12,000 products used in cosmetics, and in those 12,000 there are petrochemicals, carcinogens, and a bunch of other disturbing stuff we are rubbing on our faces.
